The airport of Santiago de Compostela is located 10 kilometres from the centre of Santiago de Compostela and 68 kilometres from the centre of A Coruña.

ALVEDRO AIRPORT (A Coruña)

A Coruña Airport is located north of the province of A Coruña, in the municipal district of Culleredo, about 8 kilometres from the centre of the capital.

To adapt the airport of A Coruña to future air traffic demand, there are plans for developing important projects, some of which are already underway, which will give it the necessary infrastructure and facilities to provide it with the highest standard in services and security for both passengers and aircraft.

In 2009, 1,068,823 passengers went through the airport, 16,236 aircraft movements took place and 239 tons of cargo were moved.

The airport of Santiago is located about ten kilometres northeast of the city, in the municipal district s of Santiago de Compostela, O Pino and Boqueixón, A Coruña.

To adapt the airport of Santiago to future air traffic demands, Aena has approved the project “New Terminal of the airport of Santiago”, which includes a new terminal building with capacity for more than four million passengers,  a car park building for 3,700 vehicles, roundabouts and road access to the new terminal and the corresponding urbanization  associated to this project.

In 2009, the airport registered a total of 1,944,068 passengers, 20,166 aircraft movements and 1,988 tons of goods.
